Abstract

Two acaricide viz. Bifenthrin 10 EC, Dicofol 20 EC and one insecticide Formothion 25 EC were tested against mites on apple. Bifenthrin and Dicofol significantly reduced mites population for 12-13 days after spray. Formothion 25 EC was found least effective and mostly run parallel with untreated plots. In comparison Bifenthrin 10 EC was found most effective followed by Dicofol and Formothion respectively.
