A new (hypopus) species, Glyphanoetus micidus has been described from Pakistan alongwith a comprehensive key, similarity matrix and phenogram. Genus Glyphanoetus was erected by Oudemans in 1929 and he designated Glyphanoetus horridum (Berlese), 1913 as its type species. Hughes and Jackson (1958) redescribed this species. Muhunka (1961, 1982) added 2 new species to this genus. One new species of hypopus in this research work has been described. A comprehensive key, similarity matrix and phenogram have also been provided.
