Children should be taught to cleanse their mouth with biologidal cleansers which protect and heal the oral structures and prevent plague and tartar formations. Brushing the teeth does not clean 75% of the surfaces of teeth where plaque forms and does not clean half of the gingival crevices from where periodontal disease starts.
