Recently nano-science and technology has focused on the field of nano-biomicro interfaces, nano-photonics, nano-electronics complex functions, nano materials, nano mechanics, theory and simulation. Some of the applications relate to medicine, computer engineering, social and economic aspects etc. A novel application of nanotechnology, reported in the literature, related to energetic materials, especially in non-ideal energetic materials containing aluminum nano-particles as fuel and in Thermite comprising nano-scale aluminum/Tungsten Oxide.
