Abstract:
Induced current distribution on a perfect electric conducting (PEC) circular cylinder which is buried in dielectric half space geometry has been determined using the method of moments. Dielectric half space which contains cylinder is of metamaterial. The other half space is of regular material. It is assumed that separation of the cylinder from dielectric interface is very large as compared to the radius of cylinder. The induced current distribution has been utilized to determine the far zone scattered fields. Induced current distribution and far zone scattered fields of the present situation has been compared with the corresponding situation when both half spaces are of regular materials.
