Abstract:
The present study was conducted to estimate total serum protein values in 100 positive and 50 negative cases of natural fascioliasis in sheep. For this purpose 650 faecal samples were examined for the liverflukes ova. 15. 38% cases were found positive for facioliasis. The total serum protein values were estimated by Biuret method by spectrophotometry, which showed a marked decrease due to increase in intensity of disease and increase in egg per gram count.
