Abstract:
Effect of prolonged heating at specific temperatures has been studied for ruby mica over a frequency range lying between 10' Hz to 104Hz. A flat loss, spanned over six decades of frequency is reported here, probably, for the first time. This was obtained by keeping the pre-baked samples in a desiccator. Measurements on pre- baked samples were also performed in the ambient atmosphere.
