Abstract:
The epidemiological study has been recorded in 1, 447 pregnant women. The lowest total foetal loss rate (15.37.) and total pregnancy wastage rate (17.97.) occurred when the age differential was less than one year or husband was 1-4 years older. The study undertaken has suggested that high age-differentials between would be spouses be discouraged to offset greater risk of occurrence of pregnancy wastage.
