A new species of the genus Mogheia lopezneyra, 1944 (Cestoda) from a bird Argya caudata from Khurja, U. P. , India.

Abstract:
A new species of the genus Mogheia Lopez-Neyra, 1944 is described from a bird of Khurja, U. P. , India. M. vinodai sp. n. differs from all the known species of the genus except M. megaparuterina Capoor & Srivastava, 1966 and M. guptai Gupta & Parmar, 1963; in having receptaculum seminalis but differs from both of them in having 8-11 testes, in the extension of cirrus sac beyond excretory canals and in the presence of a neck. A key to the species of the genus is given.
