Abstract:
The importance of the knowledge of agricultural meteorology is discussed with respect to the planning and development of agriculture pertaining to land, irrigation scheduling, crop production and protection and animal husbandry. A scheme for the establishment of Agricultural Meteorological stations in Pakistan is presented in view of the Commission for Agricultural Meteorology of World Meteorological, Organization.
