Abstract:
This is an a typical case of disseminated cutaneous leishmaniasis in a 40-year-old HIV positive man. He presented with 4-month history of a progressive maculopapular eruption of the skin. The diagnosis of diffuse cutaneous leishmaniasis was established by skin biopsy. This atypical form responded to miltefosine.
