Abstract:
Number of studies have been explored on the flow wnybouprw t¼ aoejpyhnr ¼tw coeptmr rjteovn ytujopuner= specially on the flow rate of bulk materials. Almost all the equations available since 1929, derived by many authors to predict the gravity mass flow rate of bullk materials have been studied and found unreliable because of many factors as regards the bin and stored material that influence the rate of discharge, and most of these flow rate equations have been obtained. From ricol or dimensional analysis applied to experimental results from limited ranges of materials and equipment. A serious defect of existing flow rote equations have been pointed out and they have been classified according to their origin. The general form of the equations have been suggested for the empirical formulae and for the formulae derived by dimensional analysis.
