A critical comparison of ADSL2, ADSL2+ with ISDN.

Abstract:
Every Companion in the world requires reliable and speedy connection to the WWW (World Wide Web). In past this was only a dream but now the age comes where all the dreams come true. ISDN, Leased Lines, Dial-up, DSL and cables are some of the means to connect to the WWW. Each method has its own advantages and disadvantages. This paper converses the emerging technology flavors of DSL that is ADSL2 and ADSL2+, their working, the technical problems associated with them. A brief discussion of the new approaches being used currently, to improve the working of ADSL (Asymmetric Digital Subscriber Line), and effective plans to resolves technical issues are presented here. Furthermore in this paper the encumbrances and the span of ADSL2 in Pakistan are elaborated and finally compared with the ISDN.
