An unexpected product N-(3-((2-fluorobenzyl)thio)-5-methyl-4H- 1,2,4-triazol-4-yl) acetimidamide: Synthesis and structure analysis.

Abstract:
A new 1,2,4-triazole compound, C12H14FN5S, has been obtained accidently in our synthesis process, its structure was confirmed by 1H NMR and X-ray diffraction. X-ray indicated that three intermolecular hydrogen bonds N5-H5A···N3, N5-H5A···N4, N5-H5B···N4 were observed.
