Abstract:

Inoculation effect of single and dual vesicular arbuscular mycorrhirae (VAM) with Gigaspora rosea, Glonrus intraradices, Gigaspora rosea and Glonrus etunicatum Glonrus intraradices on the growth and nutrients uptake (NPK) of Cenchrus ciliaris was studied using the pot experiment. Yield with respect to shoot and root dry weight in dual inoculation was significantly increased. The measured dry weight of shoot was 9.90 and 11.43 g and root was 4.95 and 5.71 g in case of single and double inoculation, respectively. The trend of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium uptake (%) was also observed higher.
