Abstract:
For the reclamation of land affected by the twin menace of water logging and salinity, a number of tree species were tried in different parts of the country Acacia arabica, Populus euphratica, Eucalyptus camalduIensis, E.robusta and E.rudis were planted successfully at Setharia (Sind), Shorkot (Punjab) and Azakeh (NWFP). Methods adopted and the results obtained are discussed.
