Why not physiotherapy.

Abstract:
Background & Objectives: Unlike other health care professions physiotherapy is not considered as much desired field. The study objective is to find the perception about the physiotherapy profession. Material and methods: a cross sectional survey was conducted from the population of Faisalabad 567 people participated in the study. Self structured questionnaire was introduced to the participants. Result of the study was described in percentages, in form of pie charts and diagram. Results: the results showed that 66% of people think physiotherapist is more or less like a masseur. 45% of people consider physiotherapy a good reputed profession for their child, 31% of parents like physiotherapy because of this they can call their child doctor 22% parents think it’s a helpful profession for society and 69% people think it will help their child in selecting a good life partner. Conclusion: People perception about physiotherapy is changing now days but to make picture very clear all young therapist must make some efforts to aware society.
