Abstract:

Boletus pakistanicus (Fungi, Basidiomycota, Boletaceae) characterized by uniformly pale yellowish flesh; is described as a new species from the coniferous forests of Pakistan based on morphological and molecular analysis. A description, illustrations, phylogenetic analysis and comparison with related taxa are presented.
