Abstract:
An autoconductometric estimation method is introduced based on the recording of oscillatory cur- rent impulses, generated during neutralization e- vents, in an unbalanced Wheatstone bridge coupled to a Wein oscillator. The relevant electronic circuitry and experimental setup is fabricated from inexpensive, locally available components. The performance of the proposed method is checked on sixteen strong/ weak acid-base neutralization systems. The overall average error 6 of the method is rated at 11.59; with a precision of1=0.5% for duplicate measurements. The data are discussed in specific relation to lower detection limit, sensitivity and electrolytic flow rates.
