Abstract:
An introduction of Plasma Physics is presented. Starting from its definition, a wide variety of its examples are described both in Nature and the laboratory. Many important applications are highlighted particularly the most promising one of Controlled Thermonuclear Fusion which offers a prospect of an exhaustable and relatively clean source of energy for mankind.
