Abstract:
Statistical studies of pelagic Foraminifera from the Paleocene-Eocene of the Rakhi Nala, reveal a dominance of certain species at certain horizons and a relative abundance of some species at others. All the species recorded are described with details of morphology, variation in size, horizon of the hypotype and stratigraphic range in the section. The variations in abundance are shown by mdans of a chart and the 56 species that have been described are figured on eleven plates.
