Abstract:
For the up-gradation of Kotli coal, the froth flotation process with Ethanol Amino Oleate (newly prepared floatation agent) at a temperature between 26o– 28oC at 500 r.p.m. was found suitable. Kotli coal was up-graded from 30% to 13% ash with a yield of 70wt%. The froth floatation agent Ethanol Amino Oleate Used as 0.04% solution in water, is cheaper for commercial purpose.
