Abstract:

Mont Carlo algorithm has been developed in frame work of a simple site-diluted Ising model with nearest-neighbor` eractions to study the magnetic properties of disordered Fe-rich Al-Fe alloys. The comparison of the magnetic phase diagram with the experimental data correspond to ordered alloys. It was revealed that the disordered Al-Fe alloys exhibit ferromagnetic behavior, while ordered alloys did no show ferromagnetic behavior for the higher Al concentrations.
