Abstract:
The IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) provides the end users with IP multimedia services in next generation converged networks and Session Initiation Protocol (SIP) is used in IMS for the purpose of session control. It is necessary to define the components of a system and the methods specifying the working of the system in order to design leading to the system prototyping and software implementation. The prototyping facilitates the verification of the system as early in the design process as possible thus is reducing the probability of the errors in software implementations. The purpose of this paper is to present the system design for Location based service discovery system in next generation IMS for converged networks which will lead to the prototyping model for the confirmation of the system processes.
