A preliminary evaluation of thiothexene (Navane) in schizophrenia

Abstract:
Thiothexene was tried in 18 schizophrenics at Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre, Karachi. It was found to have some antipsychotic properties affecting hallucinations, thought disorder and withdrawal. It had no effects on the anxiety and activation levels of the patients.
