Abstract:
In tuberculosis diabetics, over half of the patients existed diabetes before tuberculosis, respiratory symptoms were not uncommon, predominantly exudative lesions and cavity in infiltrations were common chest X-ray findings, predilection of the midlung and basal lesions was not common. The bacteriological conversion was comparable to that in non-diabetics but radio-graphic improvement was worse. The control of diabetes and extent of tuberculosis did not influence the response of treatment. The control of diabetes and extent of tuberculosis did not influence the response of treatment. The main factor is the adequate anti-tuberculous chemotheraphy.
