Abstract:
A suggestion for putting production and distribution of sugar under Government control has been made. A sugar refinery in the suburbs of Karachi is required to refine imported raw brown sugar to overcome the white sugar shortage. The total investment on installing such a refinery would be in the range of Rs.6-7 crores.
