Abstract:
Since patients fail to maintain regular oral. medication, studies were made of long-acting injectable neuroleptic drug namely phenothiazine.Clinical trial of palmitate ester Of pipothiazine, generally known as piportil palmitate, has indicated that it is the best for control of schizophrenia, Injections of 50 mg at 4 weeks interval produced improvement within the first two months, and side effects were negligible.
