Abstract:

Eighty lb N in the form of ammonium sulphate gave 50% more yield of wheat seed over that of untreated plot. 4 kg of active ingredient per acre foliar spray of Cycocel (Cynamid Co.) resulted in 73% increased wheat yield than that of the untreated plots. The combination of 400 lbs of ammonium sulphate fertilizer with 4 kg of active ingredient of Cycocel foliar spray per acre gave the highest yield of wheat seed.
