Abstract:
Aulophora karachiensis n. sp. and Hemicycliophora veechi n.sp. are described and illustrated from the specimens collected from Fatehjang, Punjab, and Saiful Muluk, N.W.F.P., respectively. A. karachiensis n. sp. comes close to A. indica (Siddiqi, 1961) Siddiqi, 1980, A. oostenbrinkl (Luc, 1958) Siddiqi, 1980 and A. brzeskii (Barbez & Geraert, 1980) Siddiqi, 1980. it differs from A. indica by having hemispherical head, smaller stylet, shorter body length, lesser number of R,R ex, RV, R Van. It can be distinguised from A. oostenbriniki and A. brzeski by having smaller body and styler length, lesser number of R, R ex, RV and non functional spermatheca. Hemicycliophora veechi n. sp. is similar to H. ovata Colbran, 1963 and H. saueri Brzeski, 1974 by the presence of two-rows of ornamentation of lateral field. It differs from H. ovata by having irregular longitudinal lines, more wider body, shorter stylet, anterior vulva, lesser number of R,R ex, RV. It can also be distinguished from S. saueri by the presence of irregular longitudinal lines, lesser 'a' valve, more elongated tail, anterior vulva, less number of R,R ex, RV.
