Abstract:
The design of a ball mill on a sound theoretical basis is still a goal to be reached by design engineers, though work on ball mills started as early as 1728 or even earlier. An analysis of some manufacturing units and some interesting results for rapid calculation and on-the-spot check-up of other designs have been presented.
