Abstract:
Describes (a) Preparation (b) Control of density and (c) Examination of physical properties of cellular concrete made by using `Balcrete' a foaming agent developed by the Pakistan Council of Scientific and Industrial Research. Several variations of 'Mix-foam' and 'Pre-foam' methods were investigated by using (a) High speed stirring mixer, (b) Cement mixer, and (c) Ordinary non-fitting drum concrete mixer. Processes are described in details and results given in Eve tables.
