Abstract:

An attempt has been made to investigate thrombolytic and antimicrobial activities of ethanolic extracts of Andrographis paniculata whole plant. Phytochemical constituents of A. paniculata were assessed by human erythrocyte and the results were compared with standard streptokinase (SK). Moreover, the plant extracts were compared with the antibiotic kanamycin to investigate antibacterial activity against several microorganisms.
