Abstract:
In order to cope with the energy crisis, many resources such as natural gas, electricity, coal and even solar energy are being used as fuels. According to the present rate of consumption, all natural fuels will be exhausted within a century or so. Hence, use of liquefied hydrogen as a fuel is recommended as it has double energy contents per unit mass as compared with all other conventional fuel. Hydorgen can be obtained from water which can be used without the fear of being used-up. British inventor Eric Cottel showed that an emulsion of 30% water and oil on burning gives more heat and when used in automobiles reduced the fuel consumption by 25%.
