Abstract:
A new nematode Pseudoaspedodera galli, new species is described from the bird Gallus gallus collected from Murree Hills. The new species is differentiated on the basis of characters such as females smaller than all previous species; very long chordons, loops of which extending posteriorly upto oesophageal bulb; unequal spicules, 1.00-1.75 and 0.186-0.524 in length; eggs relatively large, 0.05-0.09 by 0.042-0.082; and 5 to 6 pairs of caudal papillae.
