Abstract:
A taxonomic account of five genera, seventeen species and twelve other infraspecific taxa of the Paronxhiinae is presented here. Of the five genera, Paronychia and Herniaria are both represented by seven species, while the remaining three genera, viz. Sphaerocoma, Gymnocarpos and Sclerocephalus, contain one species each.
