Abstract:
Two 220 KV double circuit transmission lines of 34 kilometers each of-which will feed Tarbela hydel power from the first four units into 220 KV primary lines between Mangla, Kala Shah Kaku; Kot Lakhpat,Faisalabad and Multan in Punjab. The arrangement of 132 KV at Burhan will enable injection of Tarbela power into 132 KV network to fulfill the requirements of the areas of the North-West Frontier Province, Wah and Islamabad. 220 KV line between Burhan and Mangla has already been completed and the Burhan grid station is to be commissioned before the 3rd unit at Tarbela.
