Abstract:
Some specialized volumetric and gravimetric techniques successfully used for studying adsorption of vapours on low-surface area solids, have been reviewed along with the necessary precautions to be taken during the experimental work. The piezogravimetric method has been evaluated in particular keeping in view its merits, demerits and limitations.
