Abstract:
The practical problems pertaining to inclined impervious boundary have been studied and a comparison has been made with analytical and numerical solution methods. The results reveal that the values of uniform/normal head computed by analytical and numerical methods are more or less the same. Computer program was developed for evaluation of gradually varied groundwater profile on an inclined impervious boundary, which is otherwise tedous to solve analytically because of its implicitly.
