Abstract:
Blending is carried out at various process stages, using various methods, equipment, machines and intermediate products. Yarn uniformity and imperfections such as thin places, thick places and neps were inversely proportional to the ratio of polyester with cotton in the blend. Moreover, draw frame blending proved to be the best among blowroom blending, lap former blending and simplex blending.
