Abstract:
The purpose of this paper is to discover the factors affecting entrepreneurship and SMEs (Small and Medium Enterprises) in developing countries like Pakistan. The facts and figures in this paper are based on literature review from different sources of entrepreneurship and relevant data base using online, library and different thesis tools. In addition to this, primary data was also conducted through questionnaires with different managers, entrepreneurs and authorities of different SME group in Province of Sindh, Pakistan and analyzed that data using different statistical methods to scrutinize awareness of entrepreneurs towards issues affecting entrepreneurship and SMEs advancements. The investigation has discovered that entrepreneurship and innovation plays very important role in developing economies like Pakistan but, there are some factors which should be concentrated and checked on routine base. In this research study following factors have been examined which often affect in entrepreneurship developments, such as management ability, employees, manufacturing methods, infrastructure and research & developments. These factors are also known as microeconomic/ internal factors. Results suggest that entrepreneurship is ongoing process which should be routinely checked for the benefit of organizations.
