An experience of close versus open surgic, method for the treatment of pilonidal sin disease.

Abstract:
Pilonidal sinus is comparatively less common chronic benign but troublesome disease of sacrococcygeal region. A prospective study of 32 patients is carried to compare wide excision and packing with wide excision and primary closure. Early morbidities and recurrence rate is observed and compared in two years follow up. Primary closure is found better in terms of hospital stay and postoperative off-work duration.
