The quality of cane juice as affected by different salinity levels in Hyderabad region.

Abstract:
Sucrose content and net rendements decrease significantly with the increase of total soluble salts in the soil, especially during the month of March. Total solids in cane juice, under highly saline conditions are increased whereas sucrose content is decreased with the result that sugar recovery is also decreased.
