The observations regarding clinical pattern of the disease and the culture results were recorded on a simple protocol performa. Results: Out of 151 patients, 85 cases were positive for culture. Among these patients interdigital pattern was depicted in 77.6% (n=66), moccasin-like pattern in 16.4% (n=14) and vesiculobullous pattern in 5.8% (n=5). T. rubrum growth was seen in 21.1% (n=32), Candida spp. in 13.2% (n=20), E.floccosum in 11.9% (n=18) and T. mentagrophytes in 9.9% (n=15) of cases.
