Abstract:

Observations on two varieties of jute 0-3 and D-154 relating to species Chorchorus olitorius and C Capsularis showed that D-154 possesses higher yielding potential than 0-3. The optimum planting period was first fortnight of March in D I Than area and that of April in Peshawar region.
