Abstract:
An experiment was conducted to find out the suitable variety of sorghum and optimum dose of fertilizer for obtaining maximum yield of green fodder under dry land conditions of Rawalpindi tract. Variety 263 and application of 40 lb N in the form of ammonium sulphate per acre + 20 lb P20 5 in superphosphate per acre was found to be the best combination for obtaining higher yield of green fodder under barani conditions.
