Abstract:
Nearly 450 Type specimens belonging to a few groups of fauna received from zoological survey of India against Pakistan`s share, have been described in the light of the descriptions published on the Types which were retrieved by the Z.S.D. Each entry has information on phylum, class, order, family, species, locality, Coll./Donor and references. The groups of fauna fall under the phylla of porifera, polyzoa, platyhelminthes, Nemathelminthes, Annelida, Arthropoda, and Mollusca of non-chordate and the classes viz pisces, Amphibia, Reptilia of chordata.
