To study the toxic effect of metal ion chelators on Pasteurella multocoda.

Abstract:
The aim of our research was to check the effect of metal ion chelators on the growth of Pasteurella Multocida, either they can enhance or inhibit the growth. The organism grow more rapidly when they were treated with the metal ion chelators. The chelators used were salicylhydroxamic acid, oxine and EDTA.
