Abstract:
Summary: A single crystal structure of CS2NaLa(NO )6 and powder deter mina tion of Cs NaNd-(N02)6 and Rb~NaY(N02)6 show that these compounds 6ave the lanthanoid ion oxygen coorainated and the soidum ton nitrogen coordinated in an inverse A2A'M(N02)6 structure. La-O = 2.82 A, Na = 2.50 A Cs-O = 3.33 A, Rb-O = 3.23 A. There is no evidence for the existence of strong complex ions in this structure.
