Abstract:
Observations were made on the liver of Hilsa ilisha (Ham. ) infected with nematode larvae of the genus Anisakis Durjardin, 1845. Severe eosinophilic infiltration was seen near the lesion produced by the larva, surrounding the sinusoids, and under the infected liver capsule with fibrous infiltration which indicates proliferation of fibroblasts.
